As teachers for online learning, it is important to introduce variety through different types of content. Aside from providing them with readings, it is helpful to include videos and audio recordings as well! Students are more engaged when you change things up. Once they start feeling that the lessons are monotonous, they are more prone to distractions on the internet. Just make sure you have your files ready before uploading!
Go to the Course.
From the navigation bar, click Content.
Simply click the Unit or Lesson where you want to put your audio file or video.
Click Add Existing. You’ll see a few options on what to add, and at the bottom of the screen you’ll see a Browse Files button.
You can either drag and drop the file from your computer.
Or, click Browse Files and locate the file inside your computer.
You can add both audio and video to Assignments. You can either record directly inside Brightspace or upload a readily available file stored in your computer.
